Recently I've grown increasingly angry at things in life....the mental, physical, and social attributes of it. While I'd like to elaborate, I'm just really not in the mood right now.

Windows

There probably won't be any captions due to windows of time being unavailable in the near near near future. An ideal window of time is 20 minutes-- about 10 to search for an appropriate picture and about five to make a caption out of it, and then another five to post it to both my blog and the gallery at the Haven. All this while no one's looking, which proves to be evermore daunting as time passes. You'll know when I find that window when you see a caption, which I hope is soon.

In the meantime, I do believe I've two days left to advertise Plug of the Week 2 before moving on to Plug of the Week 3.

That's My Process!

When I intend to make a TG Caption, I look at an image and try to devise a story around it, one that isn't straightforward and short. I haven't been able to do that lately. So there's no new TG captions today....lately what I've been doing in lieu of making an independent TG caption is posting ones I've made for others. The Slut was the last caption that wasn't that type of caption...I don't know. Maybe I need to step away from the computer a little bit. Maybe I need a change in wardrobe. Whatever the case, I hope something comes to me soon. In the meantime, entertain yourself with my plug of the week, ah?

Today I'm sad....I really can't elaborate as to why because that delves into personal matters that reveals more of me than I want you to know. Know that this hinders future captions, setting them back for at least a day. Conflicted, disappointed, sad, resentful, regretful, uncomfortable, miserable, alone....those are a grab bag of words that can describe how I feel right now.

Wednesday 13

This picture of Liz Vicious, a model I use more often than most to express my female persona Stephanie, reminded me of how the lead singer of Wednesday 13 looked.

And then it reminded me of the band itself. And THAT reminded me that I wanted to talk about them a little bit because it's been on my mind.

The last time I gave a damn, they had two CDs out and I had-- and still have-- one of them: Transylvania 90210: Songs of Death, the Dying, and the Dead. At 16 I thought it was okay. Name one 16-year old into metal, particularly black metal at the time, that doesn't think the same way, though. This was some 5 years ago, and here's my thoughts on it now:

I don't know why I liked Wednesday 13 to begin with. It was some asshole who used to be my best friend that got me into them to begin with and while songs about the supernatural are okay in moderate doses, it's certainly nothing to build three albums around. We have enough of those bands as it is-- Rob Zombie, White Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Dope...basically anything that describes the undead or the dead or sounds like someone that's going to describe the dead would describe Wednesday 13, who I think a one-trick pony nowadays. How many times can you sing of a skeleton before I stop giving a shit about skeletons?

I don't know. This is more a band that should only play on Halloween and then never again until next year. Otherwise, it's pointless and repetitive. Leave that shit to more famous bands than the fucking Murderdolls, another band I don't care for.

That's my opinion on it, though. If you like Wednesday 13, that's fine too...perhaps moreso. I have the album somewhere lying about...it's just the CD though. If you want it, come talk to me.

Sickening

I am physically and metaphorically sick today. I ate a bad hamburger and I'm growing ever so fed up with this jaded community. The latest thing I really need to vent out today involves a pizza store. Founded by actual Sicilians who started the pizza business there, refined their cooking in Brooklyn, and opened a store here. Delicious pizza and from what I've heard orgasmic bacon hamburgers. They had to sell the business as their health was declining....so they sold it to a tall, fat and utterly STUPID man from this area, who took their version of the pizza and demolished it into crap you can't have more than a slice of, it sucks so bad. Because of this, the fact he didn't deliver, and the fact that he closed early and on ideal business days, the pizzeria is now defunct. Another eyesore in this pisshole. What was once a pizzeria born from the efforts of two Sicilians putting in years work has become barren and desolate because of some ASSHOLE who can't run a business worth shit!

Words can't describe how pissed I am over this. It wouldn't be such a big deal if it were the only thing bothering me about the town. All I can say is that they missed the big sale on brains in the local Wal-Mart.


And about Wal-Mart: why is it that most of the customers who shop there utterly brain dead? If you shop there, reader, and you've a decent head on your shoulders, I am not talking about you. I am talking about the kind of person who cuts in front of me and moves at the speed of molasses. I'm talking about the type of person who moseys about the store, mouth agape and smelling like crap. I'm talking about trailer trash. I'm talking about people who block the aisle just to shoot the shit with some other prick. Shopping there becomes an ordeal when I frequently run into people like that....they're not only an eyesore, but a major headache.

I'm done ranting for now. This probably won't be the last one because something else will piss me off about this town until I move. Which won't be for a year or so or when I get a job...whichever comes first.

I'm really not in a mood to make TG Captions today, so I apologize. I'll see what happens tomorrow.
