Is This It?

I don't know what's going on anymore, guys. I have no idea what to feel, think or do about all of this. I haven't had the motivation to do captions in quite awhile. I haven't really felt the motivation to do anything beyond continuing that story I was working on and even that's come to a crawl. I kind of feel like an ass for never communicating with fellow captioners or Haven members. I feel like a hypocrite for being a feminist and continuing to host a site that features captions describing men becoming women, at times not wanting to be so. Making it worse is my reaction to this post:

My reaction is this: Holy shit, is that response a fucking problem. Whoever runs that site completely dismisses the anonymous woman's complaint, then goes on to say that the site doesn't demean women, it demeans 'sissies'. That doesn't make it any better-- in fact, instead of demeaning women, it flat out insults RL transgender people. The whole response is condescending and it sounds like someone trying to justify being misogynistic.

That's where it really gets me, though: Who the hell am I, a guy who also runs a TG caption blog, to criticize?

And that's where I currently stand. I don't have an idea for a caption anymore. Yes, I'm aware that I'm in debt to other captioneers (me in debt, go figure) and I might repay them in kind, but I don't know if I'll ever do anything further than that. I might be done. Like I said, I don't know anymore.

Just so you guys know and aren't actively looking in caves for something that isn't there. Happy Holidays!

Changes

I've changed one of the reactions after a long time of considering it because it's incredibly rude to the members of the Haven when I post one of theirs up and kind of off-putting to me when it's one of mine. If there are additional changes to be desired, feel free to comment below.

Off-topic, but addressing the whole controversy on GTAV and their treatment of transsexuals: No shit. A frequently misogynistic game that has you mowing down innocents, cops and thugs alike is also demeaning to the transsexual community. Who'd have thought.

Two Blogs

As of right now I'm still on hiatus from caption-making (but then again, when am I not?) due to outside influences and just generally facing a block of sorts. With the recent caption and site hijackings going around, I was wondering when my turn would come up. Lo and behold, Bimbo Caps [SSCC] came through and while it's not a caption of mine, it certainly reeks of a post I had made in title and in pictures. Yaaaaay, I guess.

Not Dead Yet

I apologize for not posting captions recently, though followers of mine know this isn't the first time I've suddenly disappeared without warning or word during. I don't have much of a reason this time other than that I'm at yet another low point, in another bleak mood and with an empty repertoire of creative thinking. Simply put, I'm at a point where nothing I do-- including making captions or what have you-- seems good enough. Whenever I pull myself out of this rut is when you'll see another update, I guess. 'Til then.

No, I don't have a TG caption yet. I do, however, want to share some of my rock-girl crushes with you. The main one I have currently is Talena Atfield.

30-year old former bassist of Kittie, I'm not sure what the hell she's doing nowadays. I'm betting, though, that she looks just as good as she does in the pictures above. She looks like she's pretty cool, too. Just about the prettiest girl this side of Lyn-Z and Emma Anzai. Speaking of whom....

Condolences

My thoughts and condolences go out to both the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting and the victims of China's knife attack. I can't begin to fathom how horrifying it is to be a family member of someone who was killed.....

Without realizing it, I suppose my captions are available for viewing on the go if you need the fix. I don't know how it is you can subscribe to it because I lack a smart-telephone or an iGuy or whatever the kids are buying these days, but if you need the fix and can't get to a computer, feel free to get them on your phone-a-pad.

I don't have any new captions and, at the present time, I lack both the inspiration and the motivation to make any in the near future. When I do have a new caption, it'll be posted on here or in the Haven. Until then, I apologize.

No, this isn't an update on captions yet. I just wanted to express my condolences to Yvonne's family for their loss. It isn't a thoughtful eulogy on my part, but I do want you to know that her captions and presence were well appreciated and will continue to be even after her sudden passing.
