I know I said I would have TG captions soon the last time I posted. Truth be told, I never got around to it. But seeing how you 'Thunderbolts', I'll call you, were patient enough to wait this long, you deserve to know why.

As you're all aware, Halloween season is coming up. And when that happens, costumes, masks and the like are all sold in places either desolate or ho-hum otherwise. Such is the case with Goodwill. If you're not familiar with Goodwill, it's an American-based company dedicated to helping the down-trodden and the mentally handicapped with things such as employment opportunities, donations, and selling back donations at rather cheap prices. I think there's three of these particular stores where I live and I came across one where someone had donated a female mask and a wig. I got both for under three bucks and have been busy ever since. If you haven't noticed, I'm a fan of masks and costumes and whatnot especially after Halloween. The only downside is that it's a plastic mask that ends up making me feel dizzy and headache-y. But what the hell do you expect-- the mask was at least 1.50 cheaper than the wig.

I'm going to...attempt...to make TG Captions over the weekend so I feel productive and you guys feel better. I hope that keeps me from being crucified. Or spanked. ;)

Expage

It amazes me how popular this blog has become in comparison to my former Expage sites. If you're not sure what Expage is, don't worry-- not many people are. Similar to Lycos it was a site where you could build a simple website of your own design. It was more for kids than it was for anything else, but I had quite a few (visually appalling) pages of my own as well. I tried looking for the main site but it no longer exists...it's better off, anyway. The last time it was ever updated was the first time I used a computer for the Internet at all, which was back in 1999.

Ah, well. I apologize for wasting your time with this post on a site where you wanna see captions. I'll whip some up over the weekend and possibly post them when I plug another weekly site. See ya til then :D

PS: There was another site similar to Expage and Lycos that I think Yahoo or some other site had a hand in. Does anyone remember the name of that site?

Plug of the Week, 9/4/2011- 9/10/11

So, in theory, I'm plugging everyone this week. :p World of TG is basically a directory of TG sites-- very useful to those who don't feel like Googling specifics to get their fill. Check it out :)

I try to avoid celebrating milestones because then I'd have to do it in every other pre-determined interval (e.g. 100, 1000, 10000th post or what have you). But I do want to point out that since I started this blog, Blogger tells me 102,626 people have seen this site...at least once or twice. Thank you for your continued viewing-- I'll whip up some captions in the near future to keep you coming back. :D
